Bandit 1200
Hi i've just joined i'm looking for some advice my 96 1200 Bandit runs fine on open roads but in town or in slow traffic it doesn't run right it is very jerky i have to use 2nd or 3rd gear depending on movement of traffic. I have done no modifications to it the guy before me replaced the standard exhaust with a full Hindle system, could it be down to jetting?

Whats the air filter like. Check the plugs to see if it shows signs of running too rich then it might need jetting, but from what I know the 1200s should take a can without the need to rejet unless the air filter is modded aswell.

Check your chassis coil it's an electrical problem on low rav enough current isn't entering the plugs but on high rav it does
