Finally got a Bandit

Looks like it hasn't been too active in here lately. I'll give it a go though. I just got home tonite with my new to me '03 1200s. Fairly low mileage 12k. Nice shape, a few scuffs and rub marks, but otherwise a real nice example. I wanted one of these bikes back in the late '90s when they first came out. The day I went to purchase one new in 98, my wife informed me she was pregnant, in the dealership. Money wasn't real tight, with a child on the way I decided to pass. I bought a good used bike a few weeks later, and have been through many others since. I went with alot of more sporty potent bikes. Did quite a few track days and a little crashing. Now my old body and nerves aren't as solid as they used to be. The Bandit was looking pretty welcoming. My daughter is now 14 and growing like a weed. She's 5'10" and not showing signs of slowing down right now. I was having difficulty riding with her on the back of a sportbike. Since she really wants to ride with me I thought the Bandit would be a good choice. Things do happen for a reason. Now I have the same bike I wanted back when she was just an idea. She's almost as jazzed as dad about riding. Only problem is it's January in Wisconsin. We have a little warm spell going on, but it's only marginaly warm enough during the day. COME ON SPRING!
