bandit 650 won't self test comes up with chec

Riding bike the other day, engine just cut out. When stopped , tried to restart but turned over but didn't fire. Turned off then on, speedo test but fuel system doesnt prime and display shows chec.
Only time seen chec is when kill switch tripped,but with it tripped bike doesn't turn over, mine does.
Tried fuel pump no change. Please help!!!!!
