Cold start problem with my 600 Bandit.
Hi everyone.
I am new to this forum so hello.
Anyway i have a 600 Bandit which i bought back in summer.
I love the bike but its a bastard to start when cold but fine when warm.
Its got a good battery on it cranks over nice and fast but takes ages to even fire. That's with full choke on and when it does eventually fire up it revs its tits off up to 6000rpm.
Anyone any idea's what could be wrong and how to solve the this problem.
Thanks
Nigel.

Re: Cold start problem with my 600 Bandit.
i found with my 1200 MK1 , warm weather or cold weather starting , about half choke , NO throttle just push the button , even if shes been standing to 2-3 weeks at 0 deg temperature in Winter , she will start the 2nd push , maby when its cold you are giving to much choke and throttle , also might be a good idea to clean the carbs a bit , take the drain screws out , drain the fuel and spray some carb cleaner in
