2007 suzuki bandit street fighter

I am about to pull the trigger on a 2007 bandit street fighter with 6k miles on it. It is in pristine condition and is asking $5500 for it. Please let me know your thoughts on this.

That price seems very high for a 1200, even that late model year. You should be able to do the street fighter conversion yourself (except for replacing the pipe with a short can) for less than $100. If the bike is very lightly ridden and well maintained it would still be a good deal but I see a lot of good Bandits going for much less than that.
