'97 Suzuki Bandit 1200 Parts Empty gsxr shock

Hi I have just bought a gsxr 100L shock to go on my '97 1200s bandit, should be a vast improvement over the original shock, cost me £79 including postage from ebay, shame you are so far away as you seem to have some good bits for sale. Paul

'97 Suzuki Bandit 1200 Parts Empty replacement shock

GSXR1100L shock wouldn't go on the bandit, struck the linkage and was a quarter of an inch longer than the stock shock...any suggestions for one that will fit my bike...1997 1200S bandit...thankfully got a refund for the gsxr shock, and will have to put up with the squidgy and bouncy rear end til I can find a replacement.
