Newbie in Montreal Canada.

Post  Togna_Bologna on Wed Apr 29, 2015 3:15 pm

Hitting 40 this year. Decided it was time to finally stop talking about one day buying a bike and just doing it. (Although here in Quebec, the process takes quite a long time Razz )

Found myself in the possession of a beautiful little 2001 Bandit 600s. Looking forward to exploring the countryside this summer.

Hi, am also a newbie, having to wait until next Tuesday before I can post specs of my bike etc..
I'm 47, have had 261 bikes since the age of 17,used to buy and sell them and restore old GSXR 750 and 1100 bikes...had a 1200 bandit in 99, and recently bought same model 1200S in the same colour as the one I used to have..amazing bikes.
600 aint too bad for what they are, but upgrade to the twelve when you have confidence (and cash) much better bikes.
have previously had two 600s, and they are great bikes to get about on, but a bit heavy for their power to weight ratio...mk2 dont handle as nice as the mk1...
happy motorcycling
